Rob Knight and I are announcing a 9-day immersive photography workshop in Costa Rica, June 23-July 1, 2026, where we will explore a variety of "off the beaten path" locations, incorporating both the adventure and camaraderie that you've come to expect from TDS workshops.

We're building upon our successful January Costa Rica workshop to create what we both feel is a once-in-a-lifetime event where we handle all of the details, letting you focus on friendship, food, and photography.

“Off the beaten path” locations in three diverse regions of Costa Rica
Edit your photos with the guidance of our experts duing daily lab sessions

Currently, we have 5 seats open (with 5 already booked). The deposit is $1,000. Total price is $4,395 per person that includes:
8 nights lodging (single occupancy)
Most meals*
All transportation including airport transfers**
Daily photography and post-processing instruction
Daily excursions
All tours and/or park entry fees
Local naturalist guides
*There will be 2 days when we are in the field around mid-day, and you will be on your own for lunch.
**Your Costa Rica photo workshop fee does not include airfare to San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO).
