I loved Aperture. I took Derrick's Aperture course at MacWorld. It got me on the path of using raw images and refining them. One of the most useful tools was adjusting levels. This simple adjustment helped my early images look significantly better. It took a long time to get comfortable with Lightroom and I eventually transferred multiple libraries of images from Aperture. I also use Final Cut and Logic Pro Mac software. It makes you wonder if Apple will bring AI tools to those programs. Yes - I was pissed off for a long time with the loss of Aperture. It was like losing a trusted photography tool.
