Our final workshop of the 2022 season lands us on the stunning Oregon Coast. Headquartered in Florence, our group journeys daily to explore the land and meet the people who live here.
One moment, we’ll come around a bend in the highway, and there before us is an iconic scene such as the Heceta Head Lighthouse, pictured above in the waning day’s light.
Then the next day, we’re standing on a black rock beach breathing fresh salt air, only to be soon shivering in our jackets as we witness the power of the ocean at Thor’s Well.
The inland canyons and waterways are also stunning. On Wednesday morning, we hiked up Sweet Creek to enjoy the waning Fall color intermingling with deafening rush of fresh water on its journey to the ocean.
And finally, as each day closes, we look for places to eat and share stories of what we’ve just experienced. Photographers hanging out with photographers in this beautiful part of the country. It doesn’t get much better than this.
The 2023 Workshop Season Announced
We have a balanced lineup of in-person events that take us to the stunning scenery of Sedona Arizona and its surrounding areas, to the pristine National Seashore of Pt. Reyes, California, and wrapping up with a late Autumn experience in the wine country of Sonoma County.

Poll: How Do You Feel About the OM System Rebranding?
We learned last week that OM System is not only the nameplate for all upcoming products, but they are rebranding all previously designed Olympus gear as well. We will never see the Olympus name on camera gear again. If you’re a fan of Micro Four Thirds photography, how do you feel about this?
Comment on OM System name poll: Good chance to have a new name and positioning for the future - this is super important for their future success and survivability. The heritage will always be there and never discarded. Good move!!!
Stunning pictures😍
